Welcome to St Nicholas

The village of Cuddington was mentioned in the Doomsday Book and the church of St Nicholas was first built in 1220 with later alterations and additions. The village itself comprises about 550 people and is set in a rural location within easy reach of Aylesbury, Thame, Oxford and Bicester and until recent times was very much a small agricultural village.

The church of St Nicholas is located close to the centre of the village and takes an active part in village and school activities in addition to Sunday and other services in the church itself.

Our building has a modernised interior with good heating, lighting and audio visual facilities with toilet and kitchen and often hosts events such as concerts.

Church members come from the village and beyond and are a lively group of people, whatever their ages, enjoying a mix of modern and traditional worship, with a growing number of young families contributing to the life of the church.

Do look around this web site to discover more of who we are and what we are doing.

Further information regarding the church and village activities can be found on the Village Website.
